Each car gets a 0–100 Deal Score for how far below its fair price it's listed, weighted by how quickly cars at that kind of discount actually sell.
Up to 25% under the fair price is a discount we trust. Beyond that the score is cut, to a fifth by 50% under, because prices that low usually mean damage, salvage or a listing error. The score breakdown in the app says why.

A deal score from 0 to 100 ranks how far a listing's asking price sits below its fair price, weighted by how quickly similar cars actually sell. 65 and up is a strong deal and 90 and up is elite. Discounts deeper than 25% are scored down, because they usually mean damage or a listing error.
